Karatmeter PIN – your tool for fast, non-destructive and accurate karat measurement of precious metals and finished jewellery.

Based on over 25-years of experience in non-destructive material analysis the Karatmeter PIN was developed. Usage of a high-resolution silicon PIN-diode detector in conjunction with digital signal processing the Karatmeter PIN achieves best detection limits and highest precision. Based on an about 4 times better resolution (in comparison with conventional proportional counter technique) the element separation is much better. Furthermore lowest detection limits achieved because of better signal to noise ratio.

The Karatmeter PIN equipped wit modern, user friendly software and exact evaluation algorithm, is the proper analyzer for precisely calculating the composition of solid pieces of jewellery, precious coins and other noble metals. Simply position the piece of interest with the aid of video microscope and start the measurement. The analysis is performed non-contact and non-destructive is less than a minute. The result is given in weight % or karat might be printed as a certificate.

The usage is easy and safe, even for untrained sales personal at jewellery show-rooms. A special laboratory room is not needed.
